He hollered: So here it is, Merry Christmas. Everybody’s having fun?
He crooned: It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
He said: Last Christmas I gave you my heart.
She belted: All I want for Christmas is Yoooooooooo.
He replied: And the very next day, you gave it away.
She shouted: Happy Christmas, your arse, and pray God it’s our last.
He asked: So this is Christmas, and what have you done?
He chimed: The choirs of angels sing their song. Ding dong.
He rocked: Don't let the bells end (don't let the bells end).
She breathed: Santa, baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight.
He croaked: He's making a list, he's checkin' it twice.
She warned: You will get a sentimental feeling when you hear.
He warned: He's gonna find out who's naughty or nice.
She said: Voices singing, let's be jolly.
They said: It’s Christmas time. There’s no need to be afraid.
He praised: Dreams are like angels. They keep bad at bay, bad at bay.
He yelled: Well, tonight, thank God it’s them instead of you.
He cried: Purge the soul. Make love your goal.
She begged: I just want you for my own.
He said: My God, I thought you were someone to rely on.
He whispered: But if you kissed me now, I know you'd fool me again.
No one said: I wish it could be Christmas every day.
He reflected: And so this is Christmas. And what have we done?
