I’ve been thinking about the subject of overwhelm recently and came up with this idea whilst chatting with my son.
“Take some AIR”.
Acknowledge; just recognising it’s happening makes a difference.
Identify; the specific reasons, times or days when it occurs, look for the patterns.
Rectify; sort out what you can but don’t attempt everything at the same time, prioritise a few things, don’t worry about the smaller things.
There’s probably a lot more to think about, but it’s a start and at least the post-it-note is still on the kitchen wall.
I love to “Take some AIR”, usually by going for a walk.
