I'm not a pricing strategist.
I’m not even sure what a pricing strategist is.
But I do buy things. Records. Guinness. Other stuff too.

I tend to avoid sales. They’re usually just trying to shift what no one else wants.
I’ll often buy the more expensive option if it’s from a store I trust.
If there’s no price on it, I assume I can’t afford it.
Free things are usually a waste of time.

So here are my non-strategic pricing tips.
– If you’re giving something away for free, make sure it’s valuable but does not take up your time.
– Always show your prices on your website. It will save you from the time wasters.
– Avoid Bronze, Silver, Gold tiers. Small variations don’t create real choice. Make each offer distinct.

That is how I see it as a consumer.
But how about you?
Are your prices clear, distinct, and fair?
Do they show the value you bring?
Or do they leave people guessing?

Here’s the strategy.
Be clear.
Be distinct.
Be valuable.

Enjoy your Quick Pint.

Cheers
Nigel
