“Space. The final frontier” – James T Kirk
The astronauts in Artemis II went further from Earth than anyone has ever travelled. 252,756 miles there, then back again. It’s like flying from New York to London 70 times, in just a few days. All in something the size of a small van, with 8.8 million pounds of thrust attached to it.
There are many views about space exploration.
It’s the ultimate human adventure.
If we can’t look after our own world, why go and ruin others?
We’re just supporting the whims of multi-billion dollar entrepreneurs.
Some people think it’s all fake. The Earth is flat.
If there’s intelligent life out there, they probably wouldn’t bother with us.
There’s no denying the fascination with the moon.
We can all see it. Everyone who’s ever lived has seen it.
There’s a man in it. It’s made of cheese.
And maybe that’s the point.
It’s there. Just within reach.
But getting there is a challenge. Just like business.

Space comics with Dan Dare
76 years after launch, British space hero Dan Dare is back, with a new graphic novel reinventing the interplanetary explorer. “Everyone loves space adventure stories, but it feels like all we get these days in the West are the same two legacy IPs, Star Wars and Star Trek, repeated over and over. After a while, those universes become so huge and complicated they become a barrier to new audiences.” — comic writer Alex de Campi

Space rock with Muse
I went to see Muse last Friday, which explains the lack of Quick PINT. For them, it was a small gig, Brixton Academy, around 5,000 people. They played the big hits alongside some new material, including the new single Be With You. It starts with gloomy keyboards and Matt Bellamy’s signature quasi-operatic vocals, before building into a Queen-style, bombastic rock ending. Business as usual.
Listen to Muse’s new single; Be With You
I long to fall into the sun; it can't just be with anyone
It's got to be with you, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh. It's got to be with you.
